Metabolomika se nana\u0161a na obse\u017eno preu\u010devanje vseh metabolitov, ki nastajajo in kro\u017eijo v \u017eivem organizmu od posamezne celice do organizma.. Cilj projekta Foodomics, ki ga financira EU, je vzpostaviti vrhunski raziskovalni center na podro\u010dju metabolomike v hrani in prehrani na Univerzi v Ljubljani. Projekt se bo izvajal v okviru akcije ERA Chair, da bi hkrati uresni\u010dili raziskovalni potencial UL ter ustvarili dinami\u010dno in trajnostno najsodobnej\u0161e raziskovalno okolje. S podporo mre\u017ee obstoje\u010dih mednarodnih\/regionalnih\/nacionalnih partnerjev, malih in srednje velikih podjetij ter zainteresiranih strani, bodo rezultati raziskav obrodili sadove, hkrati pa bodo ustvarili odsko\u010dno desko za UL, da se od delnih, majhnih in razdrobljenih raziskav premakne k ve\u010djim projektom, ki temeljijo na inovacijah in ki lahko zagotovijo re\u0161itve za potrebe dru\u017ebe. Cilj projekta FOODOMICS je spodbujati znanstveni napredek z razvojem novih analiti\u010dnih metod in zagotavljanjem merilnih storitev, ki se uporabljajo za rastline, \u017eivali in ljudi.   <\/p>\n<p>Dejavnosti bodo vklju\u010devale tako profiliranje (analize vseh merljivih analitov za ugotavljanje razlik) kot ciljne analize (koli\u010dinska opredelitev izbrane skupine analitov). FOODOMICS obsega \u0161tiri delovne sklope, ki so potrebni za potrebno krepitev zmogljivosti. Vsak od teh delovnih sklopov obravnava poseben element, ki je potreben za vzpostavitev vrhunskega centra odli\u010dnosti za metabolomiko hrane in prehrane na UL. Delovna sklopa 1 in 2 sta namenjena trem pomembnim temam: (i) upravljanje in usklajevanje; (ii) ustanovitev in (iii) vpra\u0161anja trajnosti. Delovni sklop 3 je namenjen spodbujanju raziskav in izobra\u017eevanja. Delovni sklop 4 se osredoto\u010da na prenos znanja in tehnologij. Delovni skupini 5 in 6 bosta izvajali celovite dejavnosti raz\u0161irjanja, komuniciranja in uporabe. Pomemben rezultat tega projekta je, da se bodo razlike v raziskovalni in inovacijski uspe\u0161nosti med Slovenijo in inovacijsko vodilnimi dr\u017eavami v EU bistveno zmanj\u0161ale. Daljnose\u017eni u\u010dinek projekta FOODOMICS bo oblikovanje vrhunskega delovnega okolja in centra odli\u010dnosti ter inovativnih zagonskih podjetij, ki bodo okrepila slovensko in evropsko title-sep-container-right\"><div class=\"title-sep sep- sep-solid\" style=\"border-color:var(--awb-color3);\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><p>Univerza v Ljubljani (UL) ima dobre rezultate na podro\u010dju raziskav, saj je ve\u010d raziskovalcev uvr\u0161\u010denih med 2 % najbolj\u0161ih na svetu na podro\u010dju \u017eivilskih in prehranskih ved (po podatkih podatkovne baze Standford University), njihovi h-indeksi pa presegajo 20. Kljub temu pa je zaradi omejene mednarodne prepoznavnosti univerza zamudila pomembne prilo\u017enosti za sodelovanje pri vrhunskih raziskavah in inovacijah na hitro rasto\u010dem podro\u010dju <strong>metabolomike v hrani in zdravju. <\/strong>  <\/p>\n<p>Prav zato je klju\u010dno vodilo ustanovitev<strong> raziskovalnega centra odli\u010dnosti na podro\u010dju metabolomike<\/strong>, ki ga bo vodil mednarodno uveljavljen vodja ERA, da bi pove\u010dali na\u0161 ugled ter prispevali k najsodobnej\u0161im raziskavam in tehnolo\u0161kim inovacijam, jih pospe\u0161evali in omogo\u010diti njihovo u\u010dinkovito izkori\u0161\u010danje ter hkrati vplivali na \u0161ir\u0161e dru\u017ebene cilje in cilje EU na tem podro\u010dju (npr. cilj 3 trajnostnega razvoja: dobro zdravje in blaginja).<\/p>\n<p>Multiomika Napredne tehnologije in znanstvena odkritja na teh podro\u010djih bodo skupaj z vse ve\u010djo ozave\u0161\u010denostjo javnosti in povpra\u0161evanjem po trajnostni, visokokakovostni, hranljivi in prilagojeni prehrani ustvarili veliko prilo\u017enost in korist za vse zainteresirane strani.<\/p>\n<p>ERA Chair FOODOMICS bo namenjena posredovanju napredka v znanosti z razvojem novih analiti\u010dnih metod in zagotavljanjem merilnih storitev, ki se uporabljajo za rastline, \u017eivali in ljudi, vklju\u010dno z ustreznimi celi\u010dnimi modeli. Katedra ERA bo ustvarila nove celostne metode za izbolj\u0161anje znanja na molekularni ravni o prehransko in senzori\u010dno pomembnih spojinah. Kot nov center odli\u010dnosti bo raz\u0161irila domet metabolomike na \u0161tudije prehranskih posegov, sledenje poti naravnih bioaktivnih spojin v \u010dlove\u0161kem telesu, raziskovanje \u010dlovekovega in mikrobnega sometabolizma ter odkrivanje biomarkerjev in potrjevanje biomarkerjev. Kon\u010dni cilj tak\u0161nih informacij je izbolj\u0161ati razumevanje vpliva prehrane na zdravje ljudi, zlasti na debelost in sladkorno bolezen. Razumevanje medindividualne variabilnosti presnove, ki vodi do razli\u010dnih metabotipov (nujen korak k prenosu v personalizirano prehrano), in proizvodnjo \u017eivil z vi\u0161jo dodano vrednostjo z uporabo novih predelovalnih tehnologij za izbolj\u0161anje razpolo\u017eljivosti hrane.    <\/p>\n<p>ERA Chair si bo prizadevala za strukturno povezovanje in vzpostavitev infrastrukture za ustvarjanje kriti\u010dne mase najsodobnej\u0161ih zbirk podatkov, primernih za uporabo v multiomskih poskusih, pri \u010demer si bo prizadevala za interdisciplinarnost in sprejemala na\u010dela odprte znanosti. Ur\u0161ke Vrhov\u0161ek kot nosilke katedre ERA lahko prispevali k napredku na tem podro\u010dju. Delovna sklopa WP1 in WP2 sta namenjena trem pomembnim vpra\u0161anjem: (i) upravljanju in usklajevanju, (ii) ustanovitvi in (iii) trajnostnim dejavnostim. WP3 je namenjen rasti raziskovalnih zmogljivosti in izobra\u017eevanju, WP4 je namenjen prenosu znanja in tehnologij, WP5 in WP6 pa dejavnostim raz\u0161irjanja, komuniciranja in uporabe. razli\u010dnih fakultetah in podpornih institucijah, da bi slu\u017eila ciljem raziskav in inovacij ter izobra\u017eevanju in prenosu znanja FOODOMICS s skupnim raziskovalnim sodelovanjem (z novimi projekti, doktorskimi \u0161tudenti, raziskovalci po doktoratu, magistrskimi \u0161tudenti).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inovacije: <\/strong>V okviru projekta FOODOMICS bo prenos znanja v raziskovalne mre\u017ee in industrijo spodbujal vodilni strokovnjak med \u010dlani svetovalnega odbora projekta, da bi podprl izkori\u0161\u010danje in ponudil najve\u010djo paleto inovacijskih strategij, s katerimi bodo udele\u017eenci lahko okrepili svoje obstoje\u010de izku\u0161nje.<\/p>\n<p>Namen projekta katedre ERA je dose\u010di trajnostno delovanje katedre ERA FOODOMICS po zaklju\u010dku projekta. Model FOODOMICS ponuja vznemirljiv raziskovalni potencial, ki bo skupaj s prizadevanji ekipe katedre ERA za ustvarjanje odprtega in dinami\u010dnega u\u010dnega okolja omogo\u010dil, da bo UL predstavljala vznemirljivo raziskovalno in \u0161tudijsko ponudbo. ERA Chair verjame tudi v prost pretok raziskovalcev in dostop do znanja. To vklju\u010duje tudi zagotavljanje <strong>odprtega dostopa do publikacij iz <\/strong>projekta. Prav tako bodo z izjemo zaklju\u010dnega simpozija vse druge delavnice, poletne \u0161ole in javni dogodki FOODOMICS brezpla\u010dni in <strong>odprti za znanstveno skupnost, zainteresirane strani in dr\u017eavljane.<\/strong> Ponudba konkuren\u010dnega, mednarodnega okolja bo namenjena pove\u010danju konkuren\u010dnosti mladih slovenskih raziskovalcev in sredi\u0161\u010de za aktivno izmenjavo in sodelovanje z mednarodno priznanimi znanstveniki.    <\/p>\n<p><em>Sodelovanje s podjetji<\/em>: Univerza v Ljubljani je \u017ee trdno povezana s slovensko in tudi evropsko \u017eivilsko industrijo. Eden od uspe\u0161nih mehanizmov je program pametne specializacije, v okviru katerega UL sodeluje kot raziskovalno-razvojni partner v programu <strong>Hrana za prihodnost<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p><em>Novi izdelki in storitve:<\/em> Zamisli, ki bodo nastale v okviru katedre ERA, se bodo prenesle na zainteresirane strani in industrijo, kar ponuja \u0161tevilne prilo\u017enosti za razvoj tehnologij, naprav za instrumentalne izbolj\u0161ave in izdelkov <em>(Rezultat 4.4).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Znanstveni rezultati bodo prosto dostopni, medtem ko <strong>drugi rezultati, ki jih bo mogo\u010de patentirati <\/strong><em>(rezultati D3.3<\/em>). (npr. nove bioaktivne spojine v rastlinah, ki bi jih lahko uporabili v krmi in hrani, razvoj novih analiti\u010dnih metod, napredne tehnologije predelave, nova funkcionalna \u017eivila, prehranska dopolnila, novi biosenzorji, podatkovna platforma za zainteresirane strani iz raziskav in industrije) bodo imeli tr\u017eno vrednost.<\/p>\n<p>Podobno lahko <strong>novi diagnosti\u010dni ozna\u010devalci<\/strong> vodijo do inovacij na podro\u010dju napovedne preventivne <strong>personalizirane medicine<\/strong>. Zlasti ISO-FOOD je vzpostavil obse\u017eno zbirko podatkov in metodologijo za dolo\u010danje izvora \u017eivil z izotopsko analizo, z uvedbo mo\u017enosti metabolomskega profiliranja pa bi lahko dodatno izpopolnili ve\u010d vzorcev ali dolo\u010dili vzorce, ki se izka\u017eejo za te\u017eje\/neprimerne za izotopske \u0161tudije. <\/p>\n<p>Napredno znanje, pridobljeno v okviru partnerstva ERA Chair FOODOMICS, bo zato dopolnilo dejavnosti ISO-FOOD s krepitvijo njegove infrastrukturne vloge, tudi zato, ker je na\u010drtovana virtualna centralizirana koordinacijska platforma ISO-FOOD, ki bo podpirala zagotavljanje kompleksnosti razli\u010dnih dejavnosti raz\u0161irjanja informacij. Vzajemne koristi prina\u0161a tudi izmenjava praks odprte znanosti, upravljanja podatkov in obdelave velikih koli\u010din podatkov. (ii) <strong><em>Predsednik ERA xxxx, <\/em><\/strong>ki <em>je \u017ee vzpostavljena na Univerzi v Ljubljani,<\/em> je projekt z izrazito interdisciplinarnim zna\u010dajem, v okviru katerega bodo sodelovali kolegi iz ve\u010d skupin, ki se \u017ee ukvarjajo z metabolomiko.  <\/p>\n<p>ERA Chair bo podpirala razvoj globalno konkuren\u010dnih storitev pomo\u010di z omogo\u010danjem hitrega prenosa novih odkritij na podro\u010dju prepre\u010devanja prehranskih bolezni v terapevtske re\u0161itve. V okviru FOODOMICS bodo zdru\u017eena nacionalna in mednarodna strokovna znanja, ki bodo povezovale razli\u010dne znanstvene in strokovne kompetence. S tem bo ustvarjena tudi dragocena javna baza znanja, ki bo nudila strokovni vpogled, potreben za oblikovanje in izvajanje u\u010dinkovitih institucionalnih strategij in javnih razvojnih akcijskih na\u010drtov.  <\/p>\n<p>Globlje razumevanje metabolomike v prehrani ljudi in identifikacija ozna\u010devalcev tveganja lahko bistveno pripomore k izbolj\u0161anju stanja okolja in ekosistemov. To znanje bo podprlo razvoj bolj ciljno usmerjenih in u\u010dinkovitih strategij in ukrepov na podro\u010dju javnega zdravja &#8211; na nacionalni ravni (npr. ministrstvo za kmetijstvo, gozdarstvo in prehrano; ministrstvo za okolje in prostor) in na ravni EU.
